Lisa C. Beagan, DVM, MBA, CVA
Veterinarian/Owner
Dr. Lisa Beagan is a 1995 graduate of the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University and a 2023 graduate of the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. She began her veterinary career as a partner in an equine practice in Maine, and spent her workdays making farm calls throughout the beautiful New England countryside in a well-stocked truck. She also worked at a small animal referral practice on her days off.
After two years in equine practice, she moved to Florida with her husband Dave, who was in the Navy, and worked in a small animal clinic. Her time in the Sunshine State, with its giant bugs and year-round allergies, sparked an interest in dermatology.
After several years in Florida, Dr. Beagan settled in Maryland. One of her favorite aspects of equine practice was getting to know and working with her patients where they were most comfortable—at home—and she wanted to offer that same service to pet owners. She opened Mobile Pet Vet in 2003 to pursue her passion for small animal internal medicine, but through the home visits she’d enjoyed as an equine practitioner. (Albeit with a slightly smaller vehicle!) The home exams offered by Mobile Pet Vet not only make the veterinary visit a happier one for your pet, but also allow Dr. Beagan to pursue her goal of building a deeper relationship on a personal level with your pet, and with you, the owner.
Dr. Beagan has also completed a veterinary acupuncture certification through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society, and integrates both eastern and western medicine modalities in the practice.
Prior to becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Beagan completed General Electric’s financial management program and held management positions in sales, marketing, and finance with GE Plastics. Those experiences have been extremely beneficial in her role as veterinarian and business owner! She enjoys educating pet owners about health and has published articles in magazines such as Dog Fancy, Cat Nip, and Veterinary Technician, and hosted an “ask the vet” forum for two years at VetCentric.com.
She currently resides in Annapolis with her husband, a dog named Rosie, two cats and two horses and has a daughter and son both living in Boston. In her free time, Dr. Beagan enjoys Pickle-ball, traveling, going to the theatre (especially shows her son is in), reading and all things “foodie.”

Pam Schuech, DVM
Veterinarian
Always one to spot cats, draw them, feed them, or just admire them, Dr. Pam’s veterinary path began in 1994, when she joined her family veterinarian's team. She became the practice manager, and worked there for over 13 years, until leaving to attend Kansas State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Pam worked at Madison Animal Hospital, New Jersey for 10 years before escaping city-life, with her husband, to the eastern shore to join MACH. Helping cats live their best ‘9-lives’ is important to Dr. Pam. She has a passion for feline dentistry and ultrasound. Dr. Pam and her husband love hiking, kayaking, travel, and native plant gardening. Three mischievous-yet-beloved cats, and a rescued Anatolian Shepherd dog- who thinks he’s a big feline, make their house a purrfect home.
